Rules and Information about ExG

These are the official rules of ExG.
It is your responsibility to read them, understand them and obey them.
If you fail to follow the rules, you can be warned, suspended, or banned.
These rules are subject the change at any time. A Moderator's decision is final.
To make everyone's visit at ExG more enjoyable, you're obliged to follow the following rules:

Forum Rules

#1. Chain of Command

ExG uses a Chain of Command (CoC) based on the military and as such members are expected to abide by the structure without exception. Any issues have to be processed by the CoC. No member will jump over with its requests unless ordered to do so. All orders have to be followed, whether in game or training. Questions or issues are to be handled via the CoC.

Failure to follow an order will result in:

Warning > 2nd Warning > 1 Day Suspension > 2 Day Suspension > 5 Day Suspension > 10 Day Suspension > Perma Ban

CONDUCT

Members **WILL** respect each other regardless of their origin, nationality, age, gender, race, religious beliefs or creed. The same level of respect will be given to non-members.

Members will show dignity, honor and integrity both in and outside of ExG. Any insults or lack of respect towards ExG and it's members by non-members are to be ignored and left uncommented. We do not need to defend ourselves.

Cursing and all language of an offensive nature will not be tolerated, whether be on forums or any type of voice or text communications.

No member will issue religious or political matters or respond to any of them. No member will broadcast issues involving nudity, sexual content or any other adult content whether be by images, text or voice communications.

No member will question policies and regulations in public. They are to use the CoC to issue their thoughts. Sportsmanship is mandatory.

Always remember that to the public, you are not perceived as an individual but as a representative of ExG.

Also no Boosting and stuff such as Nuke Boosting unless you are in FFA and another group is doing it. You are only permitted if then to beat them to it if you so wish.

This is a no tolerance rule, old members will have just as harsh consequences as a new member would.

Failure to follow and abide these rules will result in:
Warning > 1 Day Suspension > 3 Day Suspension > 5 - 7 Day Suspension > Perma Ban.

ALLEGIANCE

ExG demands the same level of commitment and loyalty from all its members. As such, we do not allow ExG members to participate in any other group that supports any game franchise on a platform that we support. Failure to abide by this will result in immediate discharge. Plain and simple, no multi-clanning and no supporting other clans.

Warning > Removed from ANY GB team and set to the Allies group.

FORUM CONDUCT (POSTING CONTENT)

We as a community to not condone advertisements of any kind including but not limited to outside/other site services with acception to joint sponsors with ExG, Posting links to torrents, Warez, file leaches, etc. These are illegal and ExG doesn't not want to be held liable for illegal downloading of any content. This includes pornography of any kind.

Consequences:

Warning > 5 Day Suspension > Perma Ban

MATURITY

All members are expected to be very mature whether it be on forums or in a game lobby, stick by the motto of treat someone the way in which you expected to be treated. There are specific times and place to have a laugh and a play, so please refrain from doing it everywhere, where you could offend another member.

Consequences:

Warning, 1 Day Suspension, 2 Day Suspension, 5 Day Suspension, 10 Day Suspension, Perma Ban.

Abusing Given Privileges

Any member or moderator who abuses the forum's given privileges will be prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Editing other users' posts if you are the thread creator
- Deleting other users' posts
- Editing a member's signature/avatar/custom title/username/etc to something offensive or not upon request
- Inappropriately banning members or deleting accounts
- Creating multiple accounts to spam/gather posts/bump topics/etc

Because of the broad range of possible abuse, it is up to the Moderator's discretion to choose an appropriate punishment. For serious offenses, no warning is required before suspension.

1st Warning - 1st Suspension (3 Day - 7 Day Suspension) - Permanent Ban

Shoutbox Rules
Note: All forum rules apply.

Shoutbox Spamming

Spamming shouts continuously or clogging the shoutbox is prohibited. This counts as spam and the poster will be warned or suspended, depending on the severity of the spam. New members who abuse the shoutbox will be banned.

1st Warning > 1st Suspension (24 Hours - 5 Days) > Permanent Ban

Link Spamming

Continuously posting a link is prohibited. You may post a link so it is visible only once in the shoutbox at any one time. That means you can only re-post the same link every 35 shouts. This applies to ALL links, internal and external.

Inappropriate Linking

Posting links to any pornographic or explicit material will is prohibited. This includes porn sites, gory images, overly-sexual images, etc.

Information you will need to know:

COMMUNICATIONS

The official language of ExG is English however we are a multi-national group and will assist members with only basic English skills as much as possible.

CLAN TAG USAGE

The official clan tag is ExG. No other varation is to be used, no acceptions. If anyone is seen using anything besides the basic ExG as their clan tag will be subject to warning level increase and/or dishonorable discharge. This rule is only in effect at all times except when playing with friends

ALLIANCES

ExG will form alliances with other organizations for scrimmage purposes and events. However we do have a friendly community belief that non-members are welcome on our servers and forums but will be given less privileges. ExG members are not to become moles or spies in other clans.

PARTICIPATION:

All members are in a constant mode of training and as such we have practices. There purpose is to improve our teamwork and tactics. This rule IS OPTIONAL, some members on the website are here to socialize and play with ExG members, these kinds of things don't really get scheduled anyways.

FRIENDSHIP AND REAL LIFE:

We are primarily a group of friends and as such have a "Friends first" motto. However, heated issues can occur. If an issue can not resolved on a reasonable and friendly basis, the CoC will step in and their decision is final.

We accept all real life needs and commitments and will not put any member into a decision between real life success and ExG and, where possible, we will attempt to help in any way we can.

If a member leaves ExG on good terms, the decision will be respected and not questioned. They will be granted a honorable discharge and will be welcomed back if they chooses to return at a later date.

RANKS, AWARDS AND POSITIONS

Ranks and awards will be handed out based on the following sorted principles:

- Attendance

- Dedication

- Conduct

- Teamwork

- Performance

Positions will be assigned based on the following sorted principles:

- Dedication

- Leadership abilities

- Teamwork

WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE TO "GUEST" USERS BREAKING RULES IN THE SHOUT BOX. IF USERS WITH 0 POSTS ARE BREAKING RULES IN THE SHOUT BOX, THEY WILL BE PERMANENTLY BANNED OR HAVE THEIR ACCOUNTS DELETED.

Reminders & Tips:

- Just because a rule is not written, it does not mean that the behavior is allowed.

- Level of punishment is always up to the Moderator's discretion.

- If you believe your punishment is unmerited or unreasonable, you may appeal your suspension by e-mailing any Moderator, PMing any Moderator, replying to your Prison thread after your suspension, or by creating a thread in the Complain section. Do not come back under a second account during your suspension or you will be permanently banned.

- Do not talk back or insult to a Moderator or person of authority. This will only result in further warnings. Handle your argument reasonably.

- If you are the creator of a thread and are flamed or abused, do not delete posts or edit them. Simply report the posts to a Moderator who will resolve the situation.

- Warnings expire in 48 hours.

- No Multiple Accounts, ever.
